Job summary

C & B Operations in Mitchell, SD is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair agricultural equipment for customers and dealer-owned assets. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on John Deere and competitive equipment, while keeping detailed notes and timecards.

• Associate or better in Diesel Technology or related field preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands and exertion requirements.

• Knowledge of repair methods for machinery, engines and related equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Critical thinking and resourcefulness to complete tasks.
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies.
• Ability to work overtime to meet customer needs.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.

C & B Operations has grown to 38 John Deere dealerships in six states. We currently have an opening for a Service Technician to join a great team in Mitchell, South Dakota. This individual will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment.

Essential Duties

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field, preferred
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of machinery, engines and other related equipment
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability for critical thinking and resourcefulness to complete tasks
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies
• Ability to work overtime to meet customer demands
• Valid Drivers License and a safe driving record
