MIH Systems Group is seeking HVAC Service Technicians for the Columbus, Ohio area. The role focuses on start-up and service of equipment across air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control, and energy management, with an emphasis on troubleshooting and reliable performance.

We welcome both experienced and entry-level technicians who are dependable, independent, and communicative. Candidates should have 5+ years of field experience and EPA Universal certification, and own hand tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning.
• Knowledge of commercial air-conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps & rooftop packaged HVAC systems.
• Startup experience.
• OSHA 10-hour and OSHA 30 (preferred).
• Mentored others in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up and service of HVAC equipment for various applications (air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control, energy management).
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems; be dependable, independent and communicative.
• Serve Hudson, Ohio area and Columbus, Ohio location.
• Mentor other technicians as needed.

The Role

HVAC Service Technician (Columbus, Ohio)

Our HVAC Service Technicians specialize in the start-up and service of equipment for a variety of applications of air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control and energy management. We are searching for both experienced and entry-level HVAC technicians to help support the growing service business. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot and repair HVACsystems, be dependable, independent, and have communication and organizational skills. This role would serve our Hudson, Ohio area.

Requirements

• 5+ years of field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning.
• Must have knowledge of commercial air-conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps & rooftop packaged HVAC systems.
• Startup experience.
• Mentored others in the field.
• EPA Universal.
• Must have your own hand tools.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• OSHA 10-hour training certification and OSHA 30 (preferred).
• Master HVAC-Ris a plus.
• Manufacturing certifications(i.e. Aaon, Smart Chiller, Samsung, ClimaCool, ClimateMaster…, etc. - preferred)
• Self-starter, great communication skills, timely

Estimated Salary: $35/hourly - $55/hourly
