Job summary

Werner Construction Inc in Hastings, NE is seeking a Service Technician / Mechanic for heavy equipment. The role involves diagnosing and repairing a fleet including CAT loaders, graders, rollers, skid steers, brooms and light plants in our Hastings shop.

Wages start at $17.50 per hour, with health and life insurance, paid holidays, paid vacation, and a 401K with company match. Prior experience helps, but we will train the right person who can provide some of their own tools.

• Prior experience in troubleshooting and repair is beneficial, but we will train the right person.

Job Description

The primary role of this position is to diagnose and repair the wide variety of equipment in our fleet out of our Hastings shop. Equipment includes CAT Heavy Equipment (Loaders, Motor graders, Rollers, Skid Steers), brooms, light plants, etc.

• Wages $17.50+ per hour based upon experience
