Vacuum Truck Rentals, LLC in Roxana, IL is seeking a full-time Equipment Repair Technician to diagnose and repair vacuum trucks and related equipment at our Roxana office.

The role requires troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems, working with diesel engines, pumps, and vacuum systems, and processing work orders. CDL preferred; training offered for the right candidate. Schedule is Monday–Friday, in-person work.

Qualifications

• Experience: Mechanical knowledge (1 year preferred).
• CDL License preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and read schematics.
• Vacuum truck repair experience is a plus; training offered for the right candidate.
• Certified Diesel Mechanics preferred.

Key Job Functions:

• Diagnose and repair vacuum trucks, tankers, and related equipment
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Work with diesel engines, pumps, and vacuum systems
• Process work order requests including parts orders and requests
• Other duties as assigned

Occasional travel required.

Hourly pay based on experience.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience as a diesel or heavy truck mechanic
• Vacuum truck repair experience a plus - willing to train the right candidate.
• Candidates must provide all hand tools up to 1 and ½ inch along with ancillary tools to do diesel repair. Specialty and oversized tools provided.
• Certified Diesel Mechanics preferred.
