Job summary

Dead River Company is seeking skilled oil/propane service technicians to install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial heating equipment. The role emphasizes safety, customer focus, and independent work within a team.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of relevant experience (journeyman level) or 2+ years (master level) and hold valid licenses. State-specific licensing and CETP certification are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Journeyman – at least one year of relevant oil and/or propane service experience.
• Master – two or more years of relevant oil and/or propane service experience.
• Applicable propane CETP certification is required for propane technicians.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial oil and/or propane heating equipment.

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with installation, maintenance, and repairs of residential and commercial oil and/or Propane heating equipment
• Strong customer focus
• The ability to work without close supervision
• HAZMAT endorsement / Propane License a plus
• A focus on safety!
• The ability to work as part of a team

Experience:

Journeyman – Will have at least one year of relevant oil and/or propane service experience.
Master – Will have two or more years of relevant oil and/or propane service experience

Certification, Licensing, and Testing:

• Apprentice, Journeyman or Master designation licensing is necessary in states where required.
• Applicable propane CETP certification is required for propane technicians.
• All technicians must be able to pass a pre-employment physical.
• All technicians must have a valid motor vehicle drivers’ license. Driving record is reviewed at employment, and annually thereafter, and must meet company standards.
