Midwest Machinery Co. is seeking an experienced service technician to diagnose and repair agricultural and turf equipment, including AMS products. You will participate in ongoing training, stay current with John Deere and competitors, and maintain tools and a tidy, safe work area.

As a team member, you will complete required reports, track time and materials, and occasionally perform in-field service. Excellent communication with customers and coworkers is essential, with opportunities to help

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience performing service repairs.
• Ability to perform basic repairs following Technical Manual procedures.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in ag/turf equipment.
• Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment and AMS products.
• Participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs.
• Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Keep vehicles, inventory, tools and area in good condition and organized.
• Follow safety rules and regulations; maintain a clean work area.
• Complete reports and forms for work assignments and track time/materials.
• May perform diagnostics and repairs in the field; interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Assist in recruiting service work and share knowledge with other technicians.

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager or senior technicians.
