Job summary

Congregation Ohev Shalom is seeking a Service Technician IV responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems. A successful candidate will have at least 10 years of HVAC experience, including knowledge of HVAC components and systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 plus years of HVAC experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting tasks safely in a commercial and industrial setting.
• Service, diagnose and troubleshoot various commercial systems including packaged rooftops, split systems, boilers, chillers, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair commercial HVAC equipment.
• Provide technical support in the field to other technicians.
• Obtain an NCCER Performance Evaluator credential and support learning in the field.

Job Description

• Experience with HVAC systems start-up/commissioning.
• Working knowledge of HVAC concepts related to leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, heat pumps and air quality systems.
• Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices.
