Position: Service Technician (Install Team)

Location: Canteen – 2589 Consulate Drive, Suite 100, Orlando, FL 32819. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. (Details upon interview)

Pay Range: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Repairs, maintains and assists in the installation of vending machines and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to transport, deliver, and install vending machines across a variety of customer locations.
• Efficiently load and unload vending machines using lift gates, pallet jacks, and stair climbers in diverse environments.
• Apply strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills to maneuver equipment through tight spaces and adapt installations as needed.
• Troubleshoot, test, and verify vending machines to ensure proper installation, functionality, and customer satisfaction.
• Respond to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company‑owned vehicle.
• Call existing customers to determine adequacy of service, listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Visually inspect and listen to machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantle machines to gain access to problem areas.
• Inspect parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems; remove and replace worn or defective parts; repair broken parts; realign and adjust components; test machine operation following repair.
• Review inventory and order parts; ship and receive machines; maintain equipment inventory.
• Prepare machines for installation at accounts; assist in installations and removals.
• Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools—drills, grinders, welding torches—for machine repair.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and troubleshooting equipment experience is required.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
