Job summary

Bruckner Truck & Equipment seeks skilled technicians to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical truck systems. The role covers disassembly, repair, and reassembly of engines, transmissions, brakes, and related components using shop tools and diagnostic equipment.

You will read service bulletins, determine parts, and order items via the dealer management system, writing up descriptions of all work performed. Safety and productivity are emphasized in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and write in English and understand reports.
• Experience with diagnosing mechanical and electrical truck issues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and related failures/breakdowns.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, brakes, and related components.
• Read service bulletins and publications; apply information to work.
• List and order parts using the dealer management system.
• Complete work accurately and on time per standards.

This position will also perform disassembly, repair, and reassembly of truck engines, transmissions, carrier assemblies, clutches, brakes, electrical systems, and any other truck or related equipment adjustment/repairs.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESTrained to use all tools of trade, including precision instruments and technical shop machines and diagnostic tools.Use previous and on the job training to read and understand technical publications, including on-line service software and service bulletins.
