Job summary

Imperative Chemical Partners in Midland, TX is seeking a Field Service Tech I, Frac to perform chemical treatments and be the primary field representative for customers.

You will manage inventory, set up and rig down frac equipment, monitor pumps and pressures, collect data, and report issues to supervision. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math, and a valid driver's license; preferred experience in frac operations.

SUMMARY:

The Field Service Tech I, Frac performs chemical treatment of oil wells and is the primary field representative to assist and answer customer questions or concerns.

JOB DUTIES:

• Manage chemical inventory and transfer to and from locationSet up and rig down frac equipment
• Manage pumps, chemical lines, totes, rates and pressures
• Communicate issues and questions to immediate supervisor in a timely and thorough manner
• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot field equipment in support of chemical treatment programs
• Collect and record data and on occasion present to company man or well site supervisor
• Submit paperwork upon completion of frac
• Understand and perform inventory transfers (in/out)
• Knowledge of valve and well pressures while on oilfield locations
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of chemical process and utilization in yard and field operations
• Maintain company property in good order (equipment, tools, computer, phones, trucks, etc.)
• Other duties as may be assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic Math skills
• Possess and maintain a valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with Company policy.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous oil and gas frac experience
• Experience with frac equipment used in oil and gas operation
• Understanding of fundamental chemical properties (oil/water solubility)
• Experience in and competent knowledge of chemical treatment process
• Understanding of well and valve pressures
