Job summary

National Water Services is seeking a Service Technician to service filtered water equipment in Jacksonville, FL on a flexible on-call basis. You will diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues at retail locations and submit a service report with photos.

A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license, plus a smartphone, are required for reporting and updates. The role is paid at $55/hr all-inclusive as a 1099 independent contractor, with no fixed schedule and no minimum hours,

Qualifications

• Hands-on plumbing experience with water lines, valves, fittings and connections.
• Hands-on electrical experience with wiring and components.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment independently.
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Smartphone with camera for reporting and updates.

Responsibilities

NWS operates water vending machines in retail stores across the country. We’re building a roster of Service Technicians in Jacksonville, FL, to dispatch when a machine needs diagnosis or repair. No licensing required — just solid real-world experience and the ability to figure out what’s wrong and fix it.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to on-call dispatches at retail store locations in your area
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues on water vending equipment
• Complete a service report with before and after photos at each visit
• Communicate findings and repair status back to the NWS home office

Some jobs are a quick on-site fix. Others may need a follow-up visit. NWS handles all coordination with the store — you just focus on the repair.

What You Need
