Job summary

ALL Carolina Crane & Equipment, located in Raleigh, NC, is seeking an experienced Tower Crane Technician and Erector for a full-time role with competitive benefits. Eligible for a $300 sign-on bonus after 100 days of employment, this position requires lifting up to 50 lbs and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities include assembling/disassembling tower cranes, troubleshooting, and reading manuals, blueprints, and drawings. Strong electrical background and OSHA safety knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must possess strong electrical background and experience in troubleshooting PLCs
• Must be able to climb and lift 50 lbs
• Must operate safely around tower cranes and follow federal regulations

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, troubleshoot, maintain and repair tower cranes
• Diagnose, repair, adjust, overhaul components as needed
• Read and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and drawings
• Document actions taken and maintain safety compliance
• Use diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs
• Comply with safety requirements and other regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Position Summary

ALL Carolina Crane & Equipment, located in Raleigh is seeking an experienced Tower Crane Technician and Erector. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits package. This position is eligible for a Candidate Sign-On Bonus of $300 payable after 100 days of continuous, successful employment.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for assembly, disassembly, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of tower cranes
• Diagnose, repair, adjust, overhaul, and modify components as needed
• Reads, understands and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings
• Prepare proper documentation of actions taken
• Able to work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Must possess a strong electrical background and experience in troubleshooting programmable logic controllers
• Must have working knowledge of the current federal regulations for tower cranes and set high priority on safety
• Must be able to climb
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
