Job summary

MIH Systems Group LLC is seeking an Entry Level HVAC Technician to support start-up and service of equipment for air-conditioning, heating, ventilation and energy management. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repair, with emphasis on customer service in the Massachusetts area.

Ideal candidates are new HVAC graduates or students nearing certification, with knowledge of commercial systems and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• New graduates or soon to be finishing an HVAC program/certification.

• Must be proficient with troubleshooting (mechanical).
• Must have previous experience with preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of refrigeration.
• EPA and OSHA certifications are preferred.

Our HVAC service team provides start-up services for complex HVAC equipment from a wide range of manufacturers, as well as ongoing preventive maintenance, break/fix repair, and equipment retrofit services. Our Ambient team includes experienced professionals who focus on cost-effective solutions for our clients.

Job Description

Role: Entry Level Technician

The HVAC Service Technician specializes in the start-up and service of equipment for a variety of applications of air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control and energy management. We are searching for entry-level HVAC technicians to help support the growing service business. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, be dependable and have good customer service skills. This role would service our Massachusetts area.

Requirements

• New graduates or soon to be finishing an HVAC program/certification
• Must have knowledge of commercial air-conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps & rooftop packaged HVAC systems.
• Must be proficient with troubleshooting (mechanical).
• Must have previous experience with preventative maintenance.
• Previous work experience with Aaon, Climatemaster, Multistack Chiller, ClimaCool, VRF System (Samsung, Hitachi, etc) a plus.
• Knowledge of refrigeration.
• Controls background a plus.
• Manufacturing representative a plus.
• Chiller experience a plus.
• EPA certification
• OSHA Certification
• MUST have a clean driving record.

Estimated Salary: $24/hr - $26/hr, with flexibility based on experience and skills.
