Job summary

McGuire Cadillac is seeking an Automotive Technician C to perform routine maintenance, prep new cars, and conduct basic repairs under supervision. This role supports senior techs and emphasizes quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, some automotive training, and a drive to learn new technologies. A valid driver’s license is required; ASE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, fluids, filters).
• Conduct multi-point inspections and report findings to service advisor.
• Perform basic brake, suspension, steering, and cooling system repairs.
• Mount, balance, and repair tires.
• Replace batteries, belts, hoses, wiper blades, and wear items.
• Assist senior technicians with more advanced diagnostic work.
• Maintain repair orders and document work performed.
• Follow manufacturer procedures and dealership standards.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe.
• Properly use and maintain shop equipment and tools.
• Adhere to safety policies and environmental regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve knowledge and skills.

Our dealership has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly motivated Automotive Technician C. The C-Level Technician performs routine vehicle maintenance, prep new cars for delivery, basic repairs, and inspections while working under the guidance of senior technicians as needed. This position plays an important role in delivering quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Education and/or Experience
