Job summary

Precision Garage Door Service in Plainview, NY seeks a Service Technician Apprentice to diagnose and repair garage doors and related equipment on-site. You will advise customers on repair options and ways to prevent future problems, and you’ll use our proven sales model to offer services, repairs, and new equipment.

You’ll manage inventory and equipment in your vehicle, benefit from thorough training, and join a supportive team while earning a base salary plus commission.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude is a plus (not required).
• Ability to independently lift 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in various environmental conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with computers/tablets and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and resolving issues with garage doors and associated equipment on-site.
