Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Service Technician in Montgomery, AL to perform repair work and maintenance on diesel and gas-powered equipment. The role involves diagnosing defects in tractors and various heavy machinery, welding, and repairing electrical and hydraulic systems.

Applicants should have strong reading of wiring diagrams, parts manuals, and excellent customer service skills. The position is full-time and on-site at our Montgomery office.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical defects and determine extent of needed repair in tractors, skid steers, track loaders, cranes, mowers, forklifts, rollers, compactors, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, scrapers, excavators and other diesel and gas-powered agricultural, construction and turf equipment, to include handheld equipment.
• Weld and fabricate.
• Diagnose and repair automotive-style air conditioning systems.
• Perform diagnostics on CAN Bus systems.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical wiring.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on hydraulic systems, including but not limited to pumps, motors, and cylinders.
• Electronically documents repairs fully in a clearly understood manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Summary:

• Diagnose mechanical defects and determine extent of needed repair in tractors, skid steers, track loaders, cranes, mowers, forklifts, rollers, compactors, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, scrapers, excavators and other diesel and gas-powered agricultural, construction and turf equipment, to include handheld equipment.
• Weld and fabricate.
