Job summary

Engineered Cooling Services (ECS) is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial HVAC systems for customers in the Southeast region.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing commercial HVAC equipment.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Professional attitude with excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical HVAC issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service.
• Repair commercial HVAC equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read wiring diagrams and equipment schematics.
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations with customers.
• Complete digital work orders using Mobile-Tech.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you’ll troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment for a variety of customers throughout the region.

Equipment you’ll work on

• Rooftop Units (RTUs)
• Split Systems
• Air Handlers
• Package Units
• Condensers
• Exhaust and Ventilation Systems
• Commercial HVAC Controls

Responsibilities Include

• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Climb ladders and access rooftops
• Work in indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions
• Perform physical work including kneeling, bending, crawling, and standing for extended periods
