Job summary

Allegion plc is hiring a Service Technician for the Vallejo, CA region. You will perform preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment under contract, inspect, calibrate, and ensure systems are in good working order.

We value customer relations, contract retention, and staying current with industry changes. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid driver’s license; associates degree and AAADM certification are a plus, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

Associates degree in electrical, mechanical or industrial field preferred.
AAADM Certification preferred; prior experience with automated doors and glazing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment under contract.

Service Technician (Stanley Access Technologies)

What You Will Do:

Perform scheduled and/or routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment/systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and equipment to ensure it’s in satisfactory working order
Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations and assist with contract retention
Maintain knowledge of industry changes and new developments in products and technology

What You Need to Succeed:

High school diploma or GED
Valid state driver’s license without restrictions

In addition, you ideally bring to the table but if not, we will happily provide the training and support you need to be successful!

Associates Degree in related electrical, mechanical, industrial field
Prior experience in the construction industry or electrical field
Prior experience servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, installing door frames, building door frames, reading blueprints, AAADM Certification

Compensation:

Pay range from $30-35/hr
The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
