Job summary

Coulter Cadillac, Buick and GMC Phoenix is seeking a professional and motivated automotive technician to join our team. You will diagnose, repair, and test vehicles, ensuring service quality and warranty compliance while maintaining open communication with the Service Advisor.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of dealership experience (GM preferred), ASE certifications, and a strong automotive background with teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years dealership experience (GM preferred).
• ASE certifications are required.
• Strong automotive background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have clean driving record & valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

• ASE certifications are required
• Strong automotive background
