Job summary

Orkin in Peoria, IL is seeking motivated individuals to join our pest-control team. If you have construction, roofing, or maintenance experience, you can build a stable, recession-resistant career with hands-on training and real growth opportunities.

You’ll inspect and install pest protection, handle attic and crawlspace services, do light carpentry, and interact with customers. We offer competitive pay starting at $20–$22 per hour, comprehensive benefits, paid training, and tools provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid).
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.
• You must wear PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator, as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Working collaboratively on a crew of technicians to complete a job.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
