Job summary

Mark Porter Auto Group in Pomeroy, Ohio, is seeking a skilled Service Technician to keep our neighbors moving safely. You will perform routine maintenance and diagnose complex issues in a collaborative shop that values honesty and quality.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation for daily commutes to the shop in Pomeroy, OH.
• Solid foundation in automotive diagnostics and repair procedures.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment in a shop environment.
• Experience in a dealership or independent repair facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Execute accurate repairs to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace for safety and efficiency.
• Document all work clearly for service advisors and customers.
• Collaborate with the service team to identify trends and improve turnaround times.
