Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Service Technician to join a global manufacturing team. This permanent role offers $35-$40 per hour and involves travel to support equipment across sites, diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and delivering lasting repairs.

You’ll work with mechanical, electrical, hydronic, and pneumatic systems, read schematics, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with production and maintenance staff to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on service, repair, or maintenance experience in manufacturing or a comparable industrial environment.
• Demonstrated experience with hydronics, pneumatics, troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, service, and repair, or equivalent technical skills.
• Strong ability to diagnose equipment failures and complete effective repairs with minimal supervision.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydronic, and pneumatic equipment issues in a manufacturing environment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.

• Follow established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and applicable electrical safety practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on service, repair, or maintenance experience in manufacturing or a comparable industrial environment.
• Demonstrated experience with hydronics, pneumatics, troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, service, and repair, or equivalent technical skills.
• Strong ability to diagnose equipment failures and complete effective repairs with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency using diagnostic instruments, hand tools, and power tools appropriate for industrial maintenance.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and manufacturer instructions.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and equipment reliability.
• Clear communication, sound judgment, and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Technical training, an apprenticeship, or relevant trade certification is preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
