Mossy Auto Group, located in National City, CA, is seeking experienced Service Technicians for a fast-paced, high-volume shop. The role involves inspecting, servicing, and preparing new and used vehicles to meet factory and dealership standards, with emphasis on timely, accurate work to ensure customer satisfaction.

Competenze

• ASE certifications are ideal.

Mansioni

• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of current models and used vehicles.
• Perform repairs and services as outlined on the repair order.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools.
• Repair engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, steering and A/C systems as needed.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional service and time estimates.
• Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications.

We are seeking experienced Service Technicians to join our team. Our high volume shop is fast-paced, productive and a great work atmosphere! The Service Technician inspects, services, & prepares new & used vehicles according to factory & dealership standards, policies & specifications. As a Service Technician the responsibility of customer satisfaction falls into the categories of completing the job correctly and on time.

The Service Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly and Flag Rate Compensation of between $34.00 and $45.00 depending on experience, plus a productivity bonus equivalent up to a maximum hourly rate of $56.00 per hour based on individual performance.

Smog certified preferred, hours are Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities

• Maintaining up to date technical knowledge of current models and used vehicles sufficient to effectively communicate with service & sales staff
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Complying with all applicable company and legal requirements controlling vehicle repairs

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
• OEM certifications are encouraged!
• Ability to exercise good judgment
• Technical or trade school degree preferred
• Clean driving record/ valid CA drivers license.
