ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems in Nashville, TN is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automatic pedestrian doors at customer sites. You will work with electro-mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and low-voltage wiring, providing dependable service and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude and the ability to obtain AAADM certification within 12 months; a valid driver's license and willingness to lift up to 110 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to repair electro-mechanical devices.
• AAADM certification to be obtained within 12 months of employment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames is a plus.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 110 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors.
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
