JF Petroleum Group is a leading provider of turn-key fueling infrastructure solutions, serving retail stations, fleets, and government customers. The Service Technician will install, maintain, and repair fuel dispensers, submersible pumps, site controllers, and related equipment across service stations and convenience stores.

The role requires safety adherence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel as needed, with pay range $20.60–$33.25 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• A basic aptitude for learning computer skills is expected.
• Certifications in Gilbarco Dispenser and Veeder Root Tank Monitor are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a safe manner.
• Understand and comply with applicable fire safety, OSHA, and EPA rules and regulations.
• Observe and determine actions for service and repair of equipment.
• Perform repairs to correct analyzed situations in a professional and productive manner.
• Conduct repairs and scheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Perform factory-authorized modifications per specifications.
• Maintain tools required for performing the job effectively and safely.
• Follow customer safety and housekeeping guidelines when performing repairs at site.
• Resolve warranty calls on dispensers and tank monitors.
• Perform service calls as needed on an after-hours basis.
• Perform break-fix and preventative maintenance on service station electronics, computers, and fuel dispensing systems.
• Provide quality customer service that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Complete prerequisite work to obtain and maintain OEM certifications.
• Collaborate with service project crew on startup and commissioning of equipment.
• Travel as needed.

The Service Technician has a wide variety of skills and will be able to work through difficult problems. This person installs, maintains & repairs fuel dispensers; submersible fuel pumps; service station site controllers; credit card readers; cash register consoles; pumping PCW; tank & line monitoring equipment; various other types of equipment found in service station and convenience gas stations. Pay range: $20.60-33.25/hr dependent on experience.

• Perform required prerequisite work necessary to obtain and maintain certification from original equipment manufacturers.
• Work with service project crew on service projects, assist lead technician(s) with the start-up, and commissioning of equipment.
• Will be required to travel as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must have a valid Driver License
• Familiarity with computer operations and an aptitude for learning computer skills.
• Gilbarco Dispenser certification and Veeder Root Tank Monitor certification, preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours per day.
• Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company
