Job summary

Red Rock Ford of Dickinson, ND is seeking a Ford Certified Technician to diagnose and repair Ford vehicles, following Ford’s repair procedures. This full-time role offers above market pay, competitive benefits, and a sign-on bonus up to $24,000 for eligible applicants.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of dealership experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work well with service advisors in a busy shop environment. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 3+ year dealership technician / mechanic experience.
• Identify client's concerns quickly.
• Able to learn new automotive technology; repair procedures & specifications.
• Strong knowledge base of light/medium duty trucks.
• Diesel engine knowledge helpful and compensated.
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, steering, brakes, suspension, transmission and air conditioning.
• Inspect customers’ vehicles and provide necessary repair recommendations to service advisors.
• Read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors.

Automotive Technician Job Requirements:

• Able to diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, steering, brakes, suspension, transmission, and air conditioning. With Ford vehicles it requires following Ford’s diagnostic and repair recommendations
• Perform inspection of customers’ vehicles and give necessary repair recommendations to service advisors
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
