Job summary

Heritage Tractor Inc. in Mendota, IL, is seeking a Service Technician to perform basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment, including AMS products.

You will participate in ongoing training, stay current on John Deere and competitor products, and ensure tools, inventory and work areas are kept in good condition.

The role requires physical ability, a HS diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license; work may occur inside or outside in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience performing service repairs.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance using Technical Manual procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
• Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
• High School diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred
• Valid drivers license is required
• Works in environment inside and outside all temperatures
• Physical requirements other than lifting include bending, squatting, hand dexterity, climbing 6-13 feet

• Proficient oral and written communication skills
