Job summary

Finch Turf in Medford, NY is seeking an in-house Service Technician for golf and sports turf equipment. You will diagnose, repair and test John Deere and allied equipment, and document all work on orders.

You will overhaul major components, consult manuals and schematics, diagnose malfunctions, inspect/repair parts, and operate workshop tools. This role requires 2–3 years of field experience and physical capability including lifting up to 75 lbs.

• Drug-free workplace and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment (and allied equipment).

Qualifications

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift items weighing 75lbs.
• Ability to stand on concrete for long periods of time.
• Ability to walk, climb, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, and bend at waist.
• Ability to work in varying shop temperatures and shop noise.
