Job summary

Pay Range

This range is provided by Quality Equipment, LLC. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $40,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Purpose

Performs basic diagnostic, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment. May require some guidance from the Service Manager, Shop Foreman, or senior technicians.

Responsibilities

1. Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment and AMS products.
2. Disassembles, assembles, and repairs components and machines.
3. Completes all service tasks assigned by the Service Manager.
4. Prepares documentation of work performed on repair orders.
5. Reports additional work needed to the Service Manager for safety and proper operation.
6. Participates in training programs as directed.
7. Tracks all time and materials used.
8. Maintains a clean and organized work area.
9. Reports issues with tools, equipment, or vehicles.
10. Follows all safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. At least 1 year of experience in service repairs.
3. Ability to diagnose and document work.
4. Knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
5. Proficient with computers and diagnostic equipment.
6. Ability to read and interpret manuals and safety rules.
7. Skilled in basic repairs with proper tools following technical procedures.
8. Effective communication skills with customers.
9. Valid driver’s license; forklift operation preferred.
10. Possession of personal tools.

Physical Demands

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mobility includes squatting, bending, reaching, standing, and sitting.
• Visual focus on detailed work and PC use.
• Occasional driving.
• Dexterity for handling tools and equipment.
• Work environment includes medium to high noise levels.
