Job summary

Palmdale Oil Company is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair and install pumps, meters, cameras, and GPS systems across multiple Florida locations. This hands-on role requires strong customer service, self-motivation, computer literacy, and willingness to travel, including overnight stays.

MIG welding experience is a plus, and safety in confined spaces is essential. You will work at Palmdale's Lakeland area and other statewide sites, performing preventive maintenance and installations

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
• MIG welding experience preferred.
• Comfortable with travel, heights, and confined spaces.
• Must be computer literate and self-motivated.
• Willing to work across multiple Florida locations.

Responsibilities

• Repair work such as pumps, meters, nozzles, hoses and fuel distribution components.
• Install pumps, meters, cameras, GPS systems and related equipment.
• Perform facility maintenance and weld-related tasks as needed.
• Maintain equipment at multiple Florida facilities and ensure safety.

Palmdale Oil is seeking a Field Service Technician in the Lakeland area. This hands-on role involves repairing and installing equipment such as pumps, meters, cameras, and GPS systems, as well as performing metal fabrication and facility maintenance across multiple Florida locations. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, be self-motivated, computer literate, and comfortable with travel, heights, and confined spaces. MIG welding experience is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Repair work such as re-piping fuel tanks, installation and repairs of Fill-Rite and Piusi pumps, fuel and DEF meters, nozzles, hoses and other fuel distribution applications.
• Experience in Wayne and Gasboy dispensers, PetroVend cardlocks, veeder root
• Knowledge of wiring – 12v/24v /115/240 is a plus
• GPS and auto decal installations
• Facility Maintenance – repairs/replacement of general plant items as well as load rack and fuel containment maintenance.
• Install cameras and GPS systems
• Maintain all equipment at several facilities throughout Florida
