Job summary

Continental Properties is seeking a Service Technician to join the Springs at Lake Elmo team in Lake Elmo, MN. You will deliver exceptional resident service, address maintenance requests, and help keep the community running smoothly under the Service Supervisor.

Responsibilities include diagnosing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and flooring issues, while maintaining curb appeal and safety. OT and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience and ability to handle diverse repair tasks.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays as community needs require.
• Physically capable of bending, lifting up to 100 lbs independently (up to 250 lbs with assistance).

Description

Continental Properties is looking for a motivated and empowered Service Technician to join our team of dedicated professionals at our beautiful Springs at Lake Elmo residential apartment community in Lake Elmo, MN.

You will provide above and beyond customer service and an unmatched level of personal attention to residents. You will address our resident's service needs and will help maintain facility operations. You will report to the Service Supervisor.

Position Specifics

• Full-Time
• Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
• Additional earning potential through position-specific performance incentives

Providing an Exceptional Resident Experience

• Take pride in the property's overall appearance by regularly walking the grounds to ensure top-notch curb appeal, while delivering outstanding customer service with a courteous, professional approach in every interaction

Hands on Work

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of maintenance needs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, flooring, and more to keep our community running smoothly andmakingresidents comfortable

Day-to-Day Maintenance & Community Operations

• Maintain the overall appearance and safety of the property by performing grounds upkeep, pressure washing, painting, trash removal, and stepping in foradditionalneeds like unit touch-upsandsnow removal(in applicable states)
• Our communities run on smart technology—you'lluse software and mobile apps daily to manage, track, and complete work orders and keep everything running efficiently

Skills for Success:

• Brings hands-on experience in maintenance, manual labor, or a related trade and is ready to hit the ground running
• Flexible and reliable with a willingness to work overtime, on-call shifts, and non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays when the community needs you
• Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role—bending,lifting upto 100lbsindependently (up to 250lbswithassistance), and comfortable using technology like computers, tablets, and phones to stay connected and get the job done
