Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair a wide range of vehicles. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer care, using digital inspection tools and coordinating with service advisors to ensure right-the-first-time repairs.

Required state vehicle inspector license and a clean driving record; 3+ years of automotive technician experience is expected, with ASE or MACA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive digital vehicle inspections.
• Diagnose and repair brake and steering systems, HVAC systems and engine performance issues.
• Complete routine maintenance services (coolant, brake, power steering, transmission flushes).
• Conduct state inspections (emissions and safety).
• Perform wheel alignments, tire rotations and tire pressure checks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Document work performed accurately using shop management software.
• Collaborate with service advisors and management to ensure workflow and communication.

Job description

The ServiceTechnician is responsible for diagnosing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient service. Service Technicians use digital inspection tools, communicate findings, and collaborate with service advisors and management to ensure vehicles are repaired right the first time and customers stay safe on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive digital vehicle inspections.
• Diagnose and repair:
  • Brake and steering systems
  • HVAC systems and engine cooling components
  • Engine performance and drivability issues
• Complete routine maintenance services (coolant, brake, power steering, transmission flushes, etc.).
• Conduct state inspections (emissions and safety).
• Perform wheel alignments, tire rotations, and tire pressure checks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Document work performed accurately using shop management software.
• Collaborate with service advisors and management to ensure workflow and communication.

Licenses & Certifications

• State Vehicle Inspector License – required
• Refrigerant Recovery Certification (ASE or MACA) – preferred
• ASE Certifications – preferred
• Valid Driver’s License

Job Requirements

Physical Requirements
