Job summary

Hawke & Co. Ag is a leading dealer of JCB Agricultural & Construction equipment, along with Vermeer, GEA, Meyer's and Meyer products. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, with home every night and no nights or weekends.

The technician will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems, perform routine maintenance, and prepare equipment for delivery or resale. Tools are required; training and ongoing skill development are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Have your own tools or the ability to acquire them.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to attend manufacturer training and continue skill development.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems a plus.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on agricultural and construction equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative service.
• Complete repairs in the shop and in the field as required.
• Accurately document labor, parts, and service work on work orders.
• Prepare new and used equipment for delivery and resale.
• Communicate findings and repair needs with service management and customers.
• Follow manufacturer service guidelines and dealership procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

If you have experience in automotive, diesel, or agriculture industries but are looking for a new challenge or change this job is for you!

This full-time position is Monday through Friday, home every night with no nights or weekends.
