Job summary

MS Ultrasonic Technology, LLC seeks a Service Technician in Howell, MI to install, troubleshoot, repair, and commission ultrasonic welding equipment, reading blueprints and wiring panels. You will work closely with customers and travel to sites across the U.S.

and internationally, becoming an expert in advanced ultrasonic and automation equipment. We value mechatronics training, 2–5 years of hands-on machinery experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Mechatronics certification or equivalent technical training.
  • 2–5 years of experience building, wiring, servicing, or troubleshooting industrial machinery.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • A willingness to learn, travel, and take on new challenges.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and commission ultrasonic welding equipment.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical assembly of industrial machinery.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Wire electrical panels and machine controls, including Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, and other systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Test, calibrate, and document machine performance.
  • Work directly with customers to provide outstanding on‑site service.
  • Become a technical expert on advanced ultrasonic and automation equipment.
