The Service Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining equipment within the Aftermarket function. This role will guide associate level Service Technicians to further their knowledge and abilities. Assist the senior level and lead level Service Technicians on more complex repairs to develop their skills, as well as demonstrate their abilities without needing close supervision.

YOUR IMPACT

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned: Understand the electrical and hydraulic schematics to be able to complete the repairs correctly and safely. Assist other technicians with repairs/maintenance and ensure to comply by safety regulations. Leverage advanced technicians to further understanding of proper repair processes, safety procedures, and efficiency of work. Maintains a clean and safe work area. Repair vehicles, products, and various other types of equipment in an accurate and timely manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED] and two (2) or more years of relevant experience; or previous contracting experience with Oshkosh Corporation; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the role.

Valid driver’s license must be always maintained.

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service lifts and other equipment. Verbal and written communication skills. Detail oriented. Understanding and incorporating safety regulations within the work environment. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment. Experience gained from attending one or more ultra-boom schools. Experience as a Field Service Technician.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The following represents general working conditions for this role. Specific conditions may vary depending on business needs and individual circumstances. This role combines office-based administrative duties with physical activity in field or production environments. In the office setting, tasks may require extended computer use, sitting, and attending meetings. Field or floor work may involve walking across various terrains or shop floors, standing, moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), climbing stairs, and exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels. Must be able to shift focus between detailed cognitive work and occasional physical tasks as needed. Pay Range: $51,400.00 - $79,200.00 The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
