Job summary

Northland Power Inc. is seeking a service technician to perform maintenance and repair work on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems across offshore wind farms. The service location is in Norddeich, northern East Frisia.

You will work methodically and cooperatively in a team, handling offshore operations, risk assessments, and documentation while upholding health and safety standards and company processes.

Qualifications

• Completed electrical engineering or mechanical vocational training.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of technical components.
• Flexibility for offshore operations.
• Good written and spoken German and English.
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure when solving technical problems.
• Occupational health suitability for offshore operations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out service and maintenance work on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems of the offshore substation and offshore wind turbines.
• Accompaniment and execution of offshore operations with regard to special repair work on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Support of preparatory work measures with regard to the preparation of work instructions, risk assessments and associated documentation.
• Work in compliance with internal company processes, policies and instructions, including health and safety regulations.

What you’ll do:

As a service technician, you will help carry out work of all kinds in various offshore wind farms. Your service location is in northern East Frisia in Norddeich.

Your Responsibilities:

• Carrying out service and maintenance work on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems of the offshore substation and offshore wind turbines

Qualifications and experience:

• Completed electrical engineering or mechanical vocational training
• Experience in the field of maintenance and repair of technical components
• Flexibility in connection with offshore operations
• High level of security awareness
• Good MS Office skills and experience in dealing with ERP systems
• Good written and spoken German and English
• Ability to work in a team and work under pressure when solving technical problems
• Acting responsibly
• Structured work, flexibility and reliability
• Occupational health suitability for offshore operations desirable
