Job summary

Hutchinson Toyota is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our growing team in Forsyth, GA. The right candidate will have ASE certification, 2+ years of experience, and strong diagnostic skills to diagnose and repair vehicle systems.

You'll perform repairs on repair orders, test-drive vehicles, and communicate with the Service Advisor about additional work and estimates, all while delivering friendly customer service and maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required.
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity with steady hand and eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service and basic computer skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to grow.
• Team player capable of collaboration.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain and repair engine, electrical, steering, brakes, etc.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional repairs and estimates.
• Execute repairs under manufacturer specifications including warranty work.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
