Job summary

Ford Dealership in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Ford Certified Service Technician with ASE and Ford certifications to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently.

You will test-drive, communicate with Service Advisors, and perform warranty work while delivering excellent customer service in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required.
• Ford Certification
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• Dexterity and steady hand with good hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with ability to operate diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude and willingness to improve
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Team player with ability to collaborate effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, A/C).
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional work and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred
