Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to provide customer service and maintenance for Loram customers within a defined region. The role focuses on maintaining railcar uptime, performing lubrication services, and following Loram operating rules.
The position requires 100% travel, CDL eligibility, and field-based problem solving with strong communication to customer teams. A High School diploma is required, with an Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical preferred.

The Service Technician position is responsible for providing customer service and maintenance functions to Loram customers within a specific region. Maintaining unit uptime to customer expectations is critical to customer satisfaction, railroad fuel economy, and railroad’s wheel/rail life.
Experience: High School Diploma/ Equivalent
Licenses/Certifications: Maintain railroad safety training and certifications
Ability to obtain a CDL.
Education: Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical
Experience: 1+ years of Field service experience with customer facing role
2+ years working in a railroad environment, Field service, and Basic computer skills

Loram determines compensation based on factors such as skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. Certain positions may be eligible for an annual bonus and paid time off in addition to base compensation.
The pay range for this position is between $47,200-$66,000
