Job summary

Orbitalum, an ITW company, is seeking a Service Technician to perform equipment assembly, component replacement, inventory management, training, shipping/receiving and related computer tasks. The role requires strong communication, the ability to work independently, multitasking, lift up to 40 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and basic Windows skills; travel for training may be required.

• HS diploma, GED and/or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Aptitude with various power tools preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge of Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform computer related tasks such as order entry, inventory transactions, and shipping paperwork.
• Responsible for rental repairs including installing replacement parts to rebuild rental equipment.
• Maintain rental facility, inventory, and the equipment needed to test machines.
• Log equipment in and out of the system based on customer info provided.
• Able to complete repair estimates for customer-owned equipment.
• Communicate with the sales team to understand customer requirements.
• Keep area clean and perform all duties in a safe effective and efficient manner.
• Additional duties and tasks as assigned.

This dynamic person will be expected to perform a variety of operations involving equipment assembly,componentreplacement, inventory management,technical training,shipping/receivingand computer related tasks.

Hourly Rate:

$28-$30, based on experience.
