Job summary

OWL Services LLC is seeking an experienced Petroleum Service Technician to keep fueling locations safe, reliable, and operational across the United States. You’ll diagnose and repair equipment, install and replace components, and work directly with customers in the field.

No two days are alike—you’ll work independently in the field with the backing of a nationwide service organization, receiving training and resources to expand your skills in mechanical, electrical, and technology-related

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of mechanical, electrical, computer, or petroleum equipment experience or technical schooling.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform petroleum equipment service, troubleshooting, repair, and installation in a professional, safe, and timely manner.
• Diagnose and repair fuel dispensers, hanging hardware, POS equipment, and related systems.
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and component replacement.
• Install, repair, and replace dispenser hardware and equipment.
• Complete service calls accurately and maintain high workmanship standards.
• Document work and complete job paperwork at time of service.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide technical assistance and product support.

The Opportunity

As a Petroleum Service Technician, you'll be on the front lines keeping fueling locations safe, reliable, and operational.

You'll diagnose and repair equipment, install and replace components, work directly with customers, and tackle a variety of mechanical, electrical, and technology-related service calls.

No two days are exactly alike. You'll work independently in the field while having the support, training, and resources of a nationwide service organization behind you.

What You'll Do

• Perform petroleum equipment service, troubleshooting, repair, and installation in a professional, safe, and timely manner.
• Diagnose and repair fuel dispensers, hanging hardware, point-of-sale equipment, and related systems.
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and component replacement.
• Install, repair, and replace dispenser hardware and equipment.
• Complete service calls accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
• Document work performed and complete job paperwork at the time of service.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide technical assistance and product support.
• Build strong customer relationships by delivering dependable service and solutions.
• Complete required training and maintain current certifications and equipment knowledge.
• Learn and support additional systems and equipment at customer locations.
• Manage multiple service calls and priorities in a fast-paced field environment.
• Work independently while collaborating with dispatch, customers, technicians, and management.
• Follow all company, customer, and safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for technicians who are mechanically inclined, technically curious, dependable, and take pride in fixing things right the first time.

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience or technical schooling in mechanical, electrical, computer, petroleum equipment, or a related trade.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Positive, professional attitude.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability and willingness to complete required training and certifications.
