Job summary

Cloudbigdata Technologies is seeking a Service Technician based in Columbia, SC. This full‑time, on-site role involves maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer service for low-voltage systems. Technicians will ensure safe operations by inspecting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma and at least two years of related experience, ideally with mechanical or electrical knowledge. We maintain strict confidentiality in line with EEO guidelines.

Job Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Service Technician in Columbia, SC. The Service Technician will be responsible for maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, field service, and customer service tasks related to low‑voltage systems technology. This role involves regular on‑site work to support and maintain various systems.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Electrical: Inspect, maintain and adjust electrical equipment such as but not limited to electrical wiring, conduit, panels, switch gear, switches, gauges, transducers, solenoids, gas dryers, actuators, motors, meters and controls for safe and proper operating condition. Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning equipment to restore proper operating condition specified in regulations and repair manuals.
• Mechanical: Inspect, maintain and adjust mechanical equipment such as but not limited to compressors, pumps, engines, intercoolers, after coolers, heat exchangers, piping, tubing, fittings, filters, traps, gas dryers, fasteners, valves and actuators for safe and proper operating condition. Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning equipment to restore proper operating condition specified in regulations and repair manuals.
• General: Make scheduled inspections of CNG, LNG and/or LCNG fueling locations and equipment to determine proper and normal operating conditions in accordance with Clean Energy standard operating procedures. Diagnose and correct faulty and malfunctioning mechanical and/or electrical components, devices and equipment related to CNG, LNG and/or LCNG.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must have basic Mechanical or Electrical basic / foundation knowledge.
• Must have basic computer knowledge, especially using service software.
