Job summary
Gilchrist Automotive in Texas is seeking a skilled Technician to diagnose mechanical issues, perform multi-point inspections, and complete warranty repairs. You’ll work bumper-to-bumper with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction.
This full-time role requires an automotive school background, 2-3 years dealership experience, ASE certificates a plus, and a team-minded attitude. Training, benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.
Qualifications
- Diagnose mechanical issues, safety-oriented, and fix them correctly the first time.
- Administer multi-point inspections and warranty repairs
- Service transmissions, air-conditioning, engine mounts, timing belts, and more
- Take detailed notes during and post-inspection
- Keep workstation clean at all times
- Create and maintain loyal service guest relationships
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues, recommended and safety-oriented, and fix them correctly the first time.
- Administer multi-point inspections and warranty repairs
- Service transmissions, air-conditioning, engine mounts, timing belts, and more
- Deliver guests’ cars on time, every time, as promised
- Take detailed notes during and post-inspection
- Keep workstation clean at all times
