Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking Store Team Members to deliver excellent customer service and drive sales. You will greet customers, advise on products, and engage to build relationships while supporting merchandising, front-end tasks, and delivery duties as needed.

Roles include assisting with inventory and online orders, working a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, and completing product training to enhance knowledge across wine, spirits, and beer.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-3 years of work experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and handle cases/pallets.

About the role

All Store Team Members play an essential role in building the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. You will provide service and drive sales by engaging with customers and advising them on products. While both part‑time and full‑time positions generally focus on sales responsibilities, you may also be assigned merchandising, front end or other responsibilities as needed. Internally you will be referred to as Service Team Member and report to the store management team. You will Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and supporting digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in‑store and curbside pick‑up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned. Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services. Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge. Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs. Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store. Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment. Complete cross‑functional responsibilities as assigned and perform other duties as assigned. Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws – if delivery is added as an essential job function.

Qualifications

Compensation

Worker Type: Regular
Pay Range: $14.84 - $20.78 Hourly
