Job summary

Meijer Inc. is looking for a friendly cashier to deliver fast, accurate checkout experiences and thoughtful customer service in a busy lane environment. You’ll learn Meijer programs, help customers with purchases, and ensure smooth transactions.

Ideal candidates are 18+, enjoy helping people, and can learn our systems quickly. Prior retail experience is nice but not required; physical tasks like lifting and standing are part of the role.

Qualifications

• You’re 18 years of age or older.
• You enjoy working with people and providing great service.
• You’re comfortable learning and using technology.
• You listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized.
• You’re dependable, detail‑oriented, and eager to help.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
