Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services is seeking a Service Supervisor to oversee cementing operations at the well site, ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction. You will plan jobs, instruct crews, and coordinate equipment and activities with Halliburton and partner staff.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in cementing operations, a Class A CDL, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive efficiency and safety on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• 2+ years of experience operating and/or supporting cementing equipment and wellsite operations.
• Class A CDL required with the ability to operate manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and oversees cementing service line work at the well site, providing quality service to the customer.
• Plans the job including crew instructions and equipment.
• Ensures customer satisfaction with work performed.
• Directs activities of service operators.
• Coordinates cleanup, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job.
• Plans and performs calculations for the total job at the well site.
• Leads the site crew including Halliburton and/or non-Halliburton employees.
• Evaluates performance and trains operators to improve performance.
• Has budgetary accountabilities affecting revenue or service quality.
• Communicates effectively with others.
• Promotes safety and environmental consciousness and complies with safety/environmental procedures.
• Ensures compliance with HSE regulations.
• Promotes and participates in Quality Improvement Process.
• Has working skills within the service line and understands other service functions.

Job Duties

• Under general supervision, coordinates and oversees cementing service line work at the well site, providing quality service to the customer.
• Provides the planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and equipment used, including dispute resolutions to approved levels.
• Ensures customer satisfaction with work performed.
• Coordinates and directs the activities of service operators.
• Coordinates the clean up, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job.
• Plans and performs necessary calculations for the total job at the well site as needed.
• Leads the site crew comprised of Halliburton and/or non-Halliburton employees.
• Evaluates individual performance levels of the crew and trains operators to improve their job performance.
• Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts a revenue center's viability or its quality of service via personal contributions.
• Given the nature of oil field service work, the ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary.
• Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
• Promotes and takes an active part in the Quality Improvement Process.
• Has necessary working skills within the service line and a general understanding of other service functions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• 2+ years of e xperience operating and/or supporting cementing equipment and wellsite operations.
• Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) required with the ability to operate manual transmission.

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Service Supervisor I, Service Supervisor II or Service Supervisor III.
