Job description

Summary

The Service/Repair Technician IV is a senior-level position demonstrating expert proficiency and comprehensive working knowledge across all areas of installation, maintenance, and service. Under minimal supervision, this role performs and leads advanced troubleshooting, preventative and corrective maintenance, and repair duties for mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and equipment used in the commercial food equipment industry. The technician provides on-site customer support, including installation, service, and emergency repairs after hours, on weekends, and during holidays as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial food equipment for customers on contract or time-and-material basis.
  • Follow all company safety programs and operational procedures.
  • Support organizational goals through exceptional customer service and professional representation.
  • Maintain current knowledge of equipment, tools, and industry standards.
  • Communicate with customers and present additional service offerings where applicable.
  • Lead by example, supporting and mentoring less experienced technicians.
  • Maintain service vehicle, manage truck stock, and follow all safety and driving protocols.
Qualifications

Education & Experience

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Bend, kneel, squat, and work in confined spaces as needed.

Work Environment:

  • On-site work in customer facilities (including commercial kitchens).
  • Exposure to noise, heat, cold, and wet conditions may occur.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time.

Schedule:
