The Service Reliability Engineer (SRE) role in Apple Services Engineering requires a mix of strategic engineering and design along with hands‑on, technical work. This SRE will configure, tune, and fix multi‑tiered systems to achieve optimal application performance, stability and availability. We manage jobs as well as applications on bare‑metal and cloud computing platforms to deliver data processing for many of Apple’s global products. Our teams work with exabytes of data, petabytes of memory, and tens of thousands of jobs to enable predicable and performant data analytics enabling features in Apple Music, TV+, Appstore and other world class products. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $142,300 and $263,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
