Job description

Citi is looking for a Service Process Coordinator to join our Operations team, delivering accurate and timely account servicing support across a broad range of retail banking products. In this role, you will act as a key connection point between operations staff, relationship managers, and clients — ensuring daily processes run smoothly and in line with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate account maintenance and servicing requests across retail banking products, including Certificates of Deposit, money market accounts, inactive accounts, and pricing rate adjustments.
  • Resolve client inquiries efficiently and manage escalated issues through to resolution, delivering a consistent and high-quality service experience.
  • Communicate daily with management on productivity, quality, and availability metrics, and prepare written and oral updates for business stakeholders to support accurate financial entry approvals.
  • Ensure all account servicing activities comply with applicable financial regulations, including those governing privacy, consumer communications, and deposit account disclosures.
  • Deliver support across a wide range of banking products and services, adapting to shifting priorities and varying client needs.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and supporting ongoing Lean projects within the operations team.
  • Assess risk considerations when handling operational decisions, escalating control issues with transparency and applying sound judgement to protect clients and the firm.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in an operations, banking, or financial services support environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to produce clear documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and apply structured problem-solving to resolve complex issues.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to correspond with management and business stakeholders.
  • Analytical and numerical aptitude, with the ability to review financial data and identify discrepancies.
  • High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
  • Familiarity with banking operations platforms such as Aspen, Eclipse/RSM, G360, IEWA, NCIS, or Tabster.
  • Experience working with complaints management systems or similar customer service tracking tools.
  • Exposure to Lean methodologies or process improvement frameworks within an operations environment.
