Job summary

Stevens Creek BMW is seeking a Service Porter to maintain the dealership’s appearance, assist with vehicle movement, and deliver exceptional customer service. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates pursuing a career in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• Physically able to drive and move vehicles.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership’s professional appearance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.

Responsibilities

• Move and park vehicles to maintain flow of traffic.
• Drives vehicles to and from service lanes, stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Keep the dealership lot, driveways, and sidewalks clean and presentable.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
• Support sales and service departments with various tasks as required (i.e., Replenish vehicle fluids and minor vehicle assistance tasks).
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Job Description

Summary

The Service Porterwill be responsible in maintaining the dealership’s appearance, assisting with vehicle movement, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Move and park vehicles in the dealership premises and to maintain flow of traffic
• Drives vehicles to and from service lanes, stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Keep the dealership lot, driveways, and sidewalks cleanand presentable
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel
• Support sales and service departments with various tasks as required (i.e., Replenish vehicle fluids and minor vehicle assistance tasks)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role or automotive industry is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of vehicles is a plus.

Additional Information

(The Porter Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $21.00.)

Schedule:

• FULL TIME / 40 hours
• Must be able to work Monday through Saturday operational hours
• Availability between Monday (7:30am - 6pm) - Saturday (7:30am - 5:30pm)
• Sundays off
